David Jourabchi DDS, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Our team at Kids Dental Spot helps you feel at home and provides specialized pediatric dental care with genuine care and concern. Our goal is to ensure every appointment is comfortable, relieves any discomfort and gives you the smile you've always wanted! 

Dr. David was born and raised in Los Angeles before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to fight off sugar bugs and fix cavities for kiddos and individuals with special behavioral or healthcare considerations. In his spare time, he enjoys watching superhero movies (with an allegiance to Spider-Man), hiking, biking, swimming and a tasty BBQ.

Dr. David earned an undergraduate degree of Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with latin honors. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA School of Dentistry and continued to learn how to improve health outcomes for pediatric and special needs populations through a Fellowship in Community-Based Care at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Eager to learn more, Dr. David moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center, further increasing his knowledge of treating pediatric populations with an emphasis on treating special needs children and adults. Dr. David is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) and a Certified Autism Specialist from the highly respected International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Services. Dr. David's training and experience have prepared him to treat patients with laughing gas (nitrous oxide), oral conscious sedation, and general anesthesia.

With sedation as a last resort, Dr. David helps treat cavities and gum disease with a holistic approach that begins with oral hygiene at home, healthy food/beverage choices and a medical model for chronic disease management and prevention.
