Dr. David
Dr. David Jourabchi was born and raised in Los Angeles before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to fight off sugar bugs and fix cavities for kiddos and individuals with special behavioral or healthcare considerations. In his spare time, he enjoys watching superhero movies (with an allegiance to Spider-Man), hiking, biking, swimming and a tasty BBQ.
Dr. David earned an undergraduate degree of Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with latin honors. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA School of Dentistry and continued to learn how to improve health outcomes for pediatric and special needs populations through a Fellowship in Community-Based Care at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Eager to learn more, Dr. David moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center, further increasing his knowledge of treating pediatric populations with an emphasis on treating special needs children and adults. Dr. David is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) and a Certified Autism Specialist from the highly respected International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Services. Dr. David's training and experience have prepared him to treat patients with laughing gas (nitrous oxide), oral conscious sedation, and general anesthesia.
With sedation as a last resort, Dr. David helps treat cavities and gum disease with a holistic approach that begins with oral hygiene at home, healthy food/beverage choices and a medical model for chronic disease management and prevention.
Dr. Liz
Dr. Elizabeth Beeching is originally from the Seattle area and attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine right here in Glendale, AZ. After practicing back in Washington for eight years, she sold her dental practice of six years to return to the Phoenix valley in 2021. Working with Dr. David and staff at Kids Dental Spot has been the most rewarding professional experience so far for Dr. Liz, being able to provide quality dental care and oral health education to those who depend on it most.
Dr. Liz is passionate about oral systemic health, the connection between what’s going on in the mouth and what’s going on in the rest of the body. She is an active member of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a Buteyko Breathing instructor and studies ancestral health through the Primal Health Coaching Institute. Dr. Liz is active in her church community and enjoys cooking nutritious meals, being outdoors, traveling all over, and spending quality time with her husband and their two young children!
